Model 801 EM Electromagnetic Handheld Current Meter with 6 Ft. Cable

Model 801 EM Electromagnetic Handheld Current Meter with 6 Ft. (2 m) Cable, wading rod, and dedicated control display unit (CDU) to display measured velocity data.  Suitable for current measurement while standing in channel.

Includes a flat electromagnetic sensor to measure velocity -16 to +16 fps (-5 to + 5 m/s) at specific location in an open channel. To place the sensor at the desired location, the 801 is supplied with a 5 ft (1.5 m) wading rod. The standard wading rod has three equal sized 1.64 ft (0.5 m) sections with threaded joints to adjust height depending on application. The length can be extended by ordering additional wading rod sets.

Includes durable plastic carrying case and a canvas carrying bag for the wading rods.
